Answering the questions will cause them to become much more familiar with the Bible, especially the questions that ask them what a verse says, or asks them to write a verse, or asks them how many chapters are in each book, or to write the names of some of the books in the Bible. Be sure to give them a lot of praise and encouragement every time they are working on their Bible worksheets. This must be a very positive experience for them. Please do not punish them in any way for not wanting to do the worksheets, or for missing any of the questions. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and what He says about them. Wash them with the water of the Word.
There is repetition in the questions so they can start remembering their answers. This means that the Word is getting rooted in them. They will start remembering Bible verses, and how many chapters are in each book. They will start remembering key scriptures, the order of the books in the Bible, and who wrote each book. Also, when children write verses, writing helps them to remember the verse much more than if they just read the verses. They can even paraphrase the verse into their own words when they write it down. Just knowing the main point of each verse is what is important.
